GROUP DESCRIPTION: What happens when eight people gather around one table for six Italian meals? La Cucina Pazza is a six-week small group built around the warmth, flavor, and hospitality of the Italian table. Each week, you’ll watch a live cooking demo featuring an Italian dish, pick up a few techniques and stories along the way, and then do what Italians have always done so well: sit down and eat together. This isn’t a cooking class. You don’t need culinary skills, special equipment, or even an apron. Just bring your appetite. Come hungry and leave as friends. GROUP DESCRIPTION: Yahweh-Shalom is one of the compound names of God found in the Old Testament, meaning “The LORD is Peace” or “The LORD of Peace.” This name reflects God’s character as the source and provider of peace. God does not say we would be free of problems or struggles in this life. We will experience hardship and pain, but he does promise us peace in the midst of it. It begins with a personal relationship with him. His peace transcends any circumstance and is rooted in the assurance of His presence and faithfulness. We will discover how followers of Christ can experience lasting peace.
